The Early Learning Centre operates between 7.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday. The Centre is closed on public holidays and for approximately two weeks over Christmas.
The Lyneham ELC welcomes children between the ages of three and six. The fees include all meals (breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack ). We are only able to offer full day rates, however children are not required to attend for the full day if this does not suit the family.
Families have three attendance options:
- Five days (Monday through to Friday)
- Three days (Monday through to Wednesday)
- Two days (Thursday and Friday)
As the Early Learning Centres operate as a long day care registered provider, parents will have access to the Childcare Subsidy (CCS). More information on eligibility and the rates of CCS can be found https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au
Fees are charged through the ELC Finance Team fortnightly in arrears.

Introduction
The purpose-built Lyneham Early Learning Centre opened its doors in January, 2010. Two tailored programs are run each day, the P3 (three-year-old pre-school) classes and PK (Pre-Kindergarten) classes. Rooms are staffed according to regulatory requirements.
Curriculum
BCC Early Learning Centre is committed to providing an excellent early learning curriculum, and is highly structured, intentional and focused. The curriculum builds on the children’s interests, strengths, capabilities, culture, developmental needs and experiences to reflect the Early Learning Centre philosophy and the Brindabella Christian College values and ethos.
Classes are structured to allow for smaller group interactions that strengthen and foster children’s social development whilst integrating an enriching and inclusive environment.
Our educational program aspires to be a cycle of reflection, planning, implementation and evaluation. Each step depends on the other and the best educational experiences are provided for the children when these steps are working in conjunction.
