Enrichment and Learning Support Teacher Recruitment Pack

The Enrichment and Learning support teacher’s main role is to support the learning of students in Years K-6. Offer appropriate screening and testing to gather further insight into the child's learning profile.
Work with a whole class, in small groups or with an individual inside or outside of the classroom for either extension or support.
Be able to create and maintain safe, inclusive and challenging learning environments and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans and strategies.
Conduct collaborative planning meetings and engage in planning discussions to identify opportunities for curriculum differentiation.
Assist staff with differentiation and adjustments to the curriculum and assessment to meet individual needs.
Assist the management of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD).
Facilitate broader extension and support opportunities throughout the year such as the University of NSW International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS).

Selection Criteria:

1.Essential

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Completed or working towards a tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations is advantageous.

Proven experience in a HR management role.

Prior experience in managing end-to-end recruitment in accordance with targeted selection recruitment methodology.

Understanding of employment legislation, HR principles and best practices.

Excellent computer skills including advanced skills in Office computing applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Database).

The position of Human Resource and Compliance Manager is responsible to the Office Manager, and it is expected that the incumbent will work collaboratively with Management and staff on the BCC campuses.

Committed, enthusiastic teachers are required for our Early Learning Centres (ELC). These are exciting opportunities for passionate Christians with formal Early Childhood qualifications.


These positions are casual with work available on an ‘as needed’ basis. All casual ELC staff report to the Director, Early Learning Centres.


The Early Childhood Teacher positions are currently casual. Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am till 6pm. Maximum of 7.5 hours.

Selection Criteria:

1.Essential

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Completed or working towards a tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations is advantageous.

Proven experience in a HR management role.

Prior experience in managing end-to-end recruitment in accordance with targeted selection recruitment methodology.

Understanding of employment legislation, HR principles and best practices.

Excellent computer skills including advanced skills in Office computing applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Database).

Strong organisational skills, and the ability to successfully complete several tasks concurrently.

Experience in writing HR and reviewing policies and procedures and conducting training sessions with staff.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with management and staff.

Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Current Working with Vulnerable People Clearance (WWVP) or ability to gain prior to commencement of employment.

Faith Basis of Employment

Demonstrated ability to ensure that the Biblical World view is integrated into the HR practices based on the infallible Word of God.

The position of Human Resource and Compliance Manager is responsible to the Office Manager, and it is expected that the incumbent will work collaboratively with Management and staff on the BCC campuses.

The remuneration package includes an attractive salary commensurate with the applicant's qualifications and experience.

Salary: The ACT Christian Schools General Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement determines the classification aligned with the role and applicable salary. Level 6 requires a degree or extensive experience; Level 7 requires a degree with 4 years experience.

Hours of Work: Full-time (or part-time negotiable)

Out of School Hours Care Assistant Coordinator

We are seeking a committed and dedicated Out of School Hours Care Assistant Coordinator with a passion for Christian education. Qualification Expectations:

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Assistants, Lyneham and Charnwood Campuses

Due to the expansion of the OSHC program, we are seeking to appoint passionate Christians working towards formal education qualifications.


The OSHC Assistants are currently casual positions. Hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 2.30pm and 6.00pm. Extended hours are offered during Vacation care. These positions report to the Coordinator, OSHC and Director of ELC.
